Class 10,000 Clean Room packed vials means there is no paper allowed in the area where these vials are packaged. The air is cleaned from the point of the vials leaving the annealing ovens until the vial is sealed in the shrink-wrapped package.
All stock glass vials, except those silanized, are considered dirty when they enter our facility. MicroLiter takes the additional extra step of cleaning the vials by heating them to 480 degrees C to remove any particulate matter that may have settled on the vials at any point in the manufacturing process, then packing them in clean Polypropylene packs of 100. We then shrink wrap the pack in the clean room to seal the atmosphere in the pack.
MicroLiter offers our 8-425, wider-opening 9mm vials (equilvalent to, maybe even better than, Target DP, Robo Vials, and ABC vials), 11mm Crimp Top and 11mm Snap Caps.
